Elizabeth Goodyear

Liz is Programme Manager at City-REDI, where she provides strategic oversight across all projects, including the Local Policy Innovation Partnership (LPIP) Hub and UPEN. She has a rich and varied background in project management, corporate communications, and human resources, with experience spanning higher education, global corporations, and small businesses. Prior to joining City-REDI, Liz successfully managed the University of Birmingham’s ESRC Impact Acceleration Account and played a key role in the institution’s REF submissions in both 2014 and 2021.

Liz holds a Master’s in Project Management and Organisational Communications, a Postgraduate Certificate in the Psychology of Kindness and Wellbeing at Work, and professional certifications including PMP and PRINCE2. A graduate of the Aurora Leadership Programme, she now mentors emerging female leaders. Passionate about workplace wellbeing and inclusive leadership, Liz is always keen to connect around collaboration, impact, and positive change.
