The University of Southampton is a Global top 100 and UK top 20 university, located in the vibrant port city of Southampton on the south coast of England. Dating back to 1862, the University has a rich history, and is a founding member of the Russell Group.

The University is home to 23,000 students, but there is still a friendly feel, including the very active Students Union, which boasts over 300 societies, run by students for students. There are more than 350 undergraduate degree programmes to choose from, all led by passionate teaching staff, often at the forefront of their field.

Public Policy | Southampton (PP|S)

Public Policy | Southampton (PP|S) unit facilitates connections between University of Southampton researchers and local, national and international policymakers.

It supports the science-to-policy process through regular dissemination of events, academic placements in government, policy fellowships, training sessions, blogs, policy briefs, and by using social media for informed debate about policy issues
