A toolkit for research organisations to support greater understanding of the value of collaborative projects in academic-policy engagement and how to set up a funding stream to make such awards.
Collaborative funding can be a valuable tool for stimulating engagement between researchers and policymakers. Our newest toolkit, “Awarding Funding for Collaborative Academic-Policy Projects”, aims to support greater understanding of the value of collaborative projects in academic-policy engagement and how to set up a funding stream to make such awards.
You will gain knowledge on:
- The benefits of collaborative funding for researchers and policymakers alike
- The collaborative funding process, from application to evaluation
- Developing your own application forms and marking criteria
This toolkit is based on CAPE’s experience of delivering the CAPE Collaboration Fund from 2020-23 in which we awarded £424,000 for 20 collaborative projects.
