Back to team

Clare coordinates and supports the delivery of the UK-wide Areas of Research Interest (ARI) Programme, alongside the two co-leads. Through this programme, UPEN is working to embed Areas of Research Interest and other academic-policy engagement mechanisms in national, devolved, regional, and local contexts. If you’re interested in finding out more about, or getting involved with, Areas of Research Interest exchange networks, pilots, and other activities, please get in touch.

Clare is a research impact specialist and experienced in building collaborations between academic, policy, and third-sector organisations. Alongside her part-time role with UPEN, Clare is Research Impact Manager at the Royal College of Art. She’s held a range of roles at University College London and was a Leverhulme Trust Early Career Fellow at Queen Mary University of London. Clare enjoys opportunities to share her research into working-class atheist writing, and other aspects of Victorian literature and culture, whether through publications or a chat over coffee!
