Leonie Taylor
Leonie is a social researcher who joined The Young Foundation in 2023, after completing her MA at The University of Leeds exploring how community and policy infrastructure can interact to promote reproductive justice.
Leonie is passionate about community-driven evidence as the foundation for social change, and supports people and organisations to achieve this in their journey towards low-carbon living. Before joining The Young Foundation, Leonie led programmes in Sierra Leone and Greece, working in partnership with communities to amplify the challenges they face and the solutions they would like to see.
With a keen interest in creative and participatory methods in co-creation, Leonie leads a range of mixed-methods projects across the areas of housing, the built environment and social infrastructures. Leonie has supported programmes with The Mayor of London, London Councils, local governments and housing associations across the UK. In her role, Leonie also supports the University Policy Engagement Network (UPEN) and the Joined-Up Sustainability Transformation (JUST) Centre.
