Rob Davies co-leads the Areas of Research Interest (ARI) work strand within UPEN Programmes.

In Rob’s primary role as Head of Policy & Dialogue at CLOSER, they lead a team of communications, public affairs and policy research specialists working to increase the visibility, use and impact of longitudinal population studies, data and research. Their expertise spans policy engagement, stakeholder management, strategic communications, reputation management, and leadership.

UPEN members, partners, and external organisations often reach out to them for guidance on knowledge mobilisation and policy engagement strategies, research communication, anything related to ARIs, and navigating the intersection between scientific research and policy development.
