Expertise sought on the impact of data centres in Scotland
The Scottish Parliament Information Centre anticipate that data centres are likely to be the subject of parliamentary scrutiny in this session of the Scottish Parliament. They are seeking academics with expertise about data centres in relation to a number of areas including energy demand and power infrastructure, water consumption and cooling systems, sustainability issues, land use, socioeconomic impacts and data sovereignty among others. Academics at all career stages and from all research institutions are encouraged to respond to highlight their relevant expertise and links to relevant research.
