Experts on public administration sought by The Scottish Parliament

The Scottish Parliament has published an Area of Research Interest on Public Administration to inform the scrutiny work of a committee with public administration in its remit. It is keen to:

– Gather a list of experts, particularly academics, with insights into how government and the public sector works in Scotland or the UK who are well placed to support the committee’s work in the next parliamentary Session (May 2026 onwards) through informal briefings and formal evidence.
– Receive details of areas of current or recent public administration research in Scotland or the UK that could inform the committee.

Academics at all career stages and from all research institutions are encouraged to respond. You should highlight your relevant expertise and links to relevant research.

Closes on 13 March
