Dr Hannah Durrant

Dr Hannah Durrant sits on UPEN’s Executive Board and leads UPEN’s Knowledge Mobilisation Community of Practice. She is Senior Research Fellow and Programme Director at the Wales Centre for Public Policy (WCPP) and leads the Centre’s research on knowledge mobilisation practice and impact, and evidence use in policymaking.

Hannah has published on academic-policy engagement, the role and function of knowledge brokering organisations, the craft of knowledge mobilisation and the skills and competencies of knowledge mobilisers. She has over 10 years’ experience leading and mobilising research to inform policy and public service, having led WCPP’s policy engagement on community wellbeing, generating relevant and impactful evidence for Welsh Government and public and community service leaders.
