Francesca Lace

Francesca is the Head of Public Policy Research and Place at the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC), UKRI.

Francesca works across ESRC and UKRI to strengthen the contribution of social science to national, regional, local and devolved policymaking. She helps ensure that ESRC’s investments generate meaningful real‑world impact and that place‑based perspectives are embedded across programmes and partnerships.
